My second long-term stay at the Poulo Wai, this time for a week. Excellent hotel for business/long-term travelers especially, as their one-bedroom and studio rooms offer more than enough space to spread out, along with kitchens, microwaves, balconies, even a washer, etc.( This was especially useful during the spring heatwave of 105F/41C, when exploring the city was not as optimal.) Also very strong, reliable wifi, and plenty of quiet common spaces to sit and work in, from bar in lobby area to seats along the pool to a usually very quiet rooftop bar/restaurant. As it was low season I was upgraded to a bigger room without even asking, which was appreciated. Staff was again exceedingly kind and helpful, and daily breakfast was great. Location is near various arts orgs (Institute Francaise, Bophana Center, Meta House, Cine Hub, etc), but not in a tourist-centered area, which was nice. Very comfortable, firm beds, btw. Looking forward to my next trip. Would definitely return.

I received a warm reception from the staff everywhere I went and the welcome drink, cold, towel and free upgrade to a balcony room was so appreciated after a long day of travel 🫶🏼 I spent everyday either in the pool or the gym, both were wonderful and most of the time I was the only guest using the facilities. The room was cleaned everyday including water, coffee, soap, shampoo, conditioner. The amenities they provide for free were the best I've experienced in my 4 months of solo travel. The fluffy white towels, dressing gown, slippers and luxurious bed have me the best night sleep I've had in months. The breakfast was phenomenal, I looked forward to it every morning. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay to all the team at Poulo Wai, you really are doing an incredible job at making people feeling welcome 🙏🏼
